Wow! Time to sit down and write a journal entry!! Prepare thyself, revelers.
College is going well, but I'm shockingly busy. (and when I say "shockingly", I don't mean that i'm shocked by the amount of work I'm assigned, I'm shocked by the amount of work i've actually DONE!)
- Taking a Stab at a Magazine Commission from Neil: DONE!
- Actually following through on a group project without wussing out in a cloud of misery: DONE!
- Finishing my Summer Project Before it's Due: POSSIBLE!
- Personal projects such as the Comic, the other Comic, and the Play: Not Done at All.
It seems I've been spreading myself too thin in more than one arena. Alien love messiah indeed. Fred Christ would be so dissapointed in me and my personal feelings/conflicts about sex, friendship and love.
( Story that just sort of came to me.. Gruesome and Strange. )
Oh, Hot Topic! How I miss thee! How I dote on thee!

I pine for you, stripey pants!!!
Next time I'm in the states and restarting my hot topic job, I'm going to make a formal pitch for them to extend a branch to London. Because.. because I demand it.
I should not be oogling online-only items. I'm hard enough to size as it is. And anyway.. I've got at least 3 different people who are willing to *make* me fabulous clothes, which is worlds better than getting a mass produced product. I think I might be going through shopping withdrawl.. oh, retail! I pine for you!
At any rate... I am tired now.. horribly tired! So i'll leave the rest for another time...

- Music:Ramones - Here Today, Gone Tomorrow
Yeah. Going out felt goood. It was marvelous. I didn't do any dancing, because I was mostly engrossed in conversation, but It felt so great just to people watch. And it was a beautiful place for that pastime. The Modern were very excellent good, proven by the fact that I still have their songs in my head, and I'm enjoying it.
I was reminded (and yes, I really did need reminding after this sort of gruesome summer of gender crises) that there really is a place for me in society. It reminded me that there are so many beautiful aesthetic artists here, creatures of varying genders, children summoning their sexual revolutionary forefathers or creating a cataclysm of their own.
I may make it a habit of chanting "One of us, one of us, we accept her, one of us...." at new friends and dancing around them like in Freaks and the Dreamers.

Lust: I say, what happened to Tobias?
Petty Destruction: He left the club,
Lust: What a pity, I quite liked him. He had such lovely perverted thoughts.
Petty Destruction: Quite perverted.
Nature's Master: You're lying, Dorian. Tobias was murdered.
Petty Destruction: Oh yes! That's right.
Lust: You did it, didn't you? Cheeky thing. Oh, Dorian, you must learn not to unleash yourself upon your peers. Mortals are one thing...
Nature's Master: Don't excuse him of murder!
Petty Destruction: Behold, Gentlemen, my closest kin!
Nature's Master: Oh, not again.. How many non-sentient relatives do you have?
Petty Destruction: I am part of everything, Doctor. But this particular flower has an almost poetic resemblance to me. You see, this bloom is so attractive and rare that men have gone into the most dangerous jungles to bring it back for their masters, mistresses, or wives. Many come back maimed by wild beasts, or blinded by poisons. Some are killed in their quest for this blossom, devoured by the wild or by the natives. Would you then call it a murderer?
Nature's Master: I would say it drives men to suicide with it's beauty.
Petty Destruction: Clearly, that is not the same thing as murder. It's really quite a natural process. I'll show you some time.

Donovan's new album is out and I CAN'T FIND IT! Aaah!
Andy visits tomorrow! Hoorah! Might go to see Pet Shop Boys VS. Einstein on Sunday if he's interested.. otherwise I'd like to see Throne of Blood: Japanese cinema does Macbeth. We'll see.
If I do a Highly Graphic (as in style.. not as in blood and guts... i assume.) version of the Elagabalus account.. it will look something like this: ( Assassination of Elagabalus )
OR this: ( Assassination of Elagabalus avec plague de thingies )
Dunno which style I prefer. I may be overdoing it with the Plague of Thingies.
My favourite quote to illustrate:
On one single day, it is said, he visited every prostitute from the Circus, the theatre, the Amphitheatre, and all the public places of Rome, covering his head with a muleteer's cap in order to escape recognition; he did not, however, gratify his passions, but merely gave an aureus to each prostitute, saying as he did so: " Let no one know it, but this is a present from Antoninus ."
I fucking love this guy so much. How can anyone not love him? *adoration for Elagabalus*

- Music:The American And Florence/Nobody's Side - Chess
Petty Destruction: I have composed a piece in recognition of recent events.
Nature's Master: Well, go on.
Lust: Go on, dear. I want to hear it.
Petty Destruction:
The poets call us dark ladies
The nightclubs call us les foilles
The courts call us fearful boys
The devout call us filthy
The soldiers call us their little loves
The killers call us inspiration
I am the Beautiful Destroyer, and you will not expect my power.
Nature's Master: Oh it always has to be about you, doesn't it?
